What is ‘dressy casual’?

Think of an outfit you’d wear to to a nice dinner by the ocean on vacation. For women, flowy dresses, linen pants, or chic white jeans. For men, trousers paired with a nice shirt.

Friday’s welcome reception will be at Margin Street will be outside, so plan your footwear accordingly.

What is ‘black tie optional?

A tuxedo is not required, but always preferred. For those opting for a suit, a formal dark suit, white shirt and conservative tie are recommended. Women can choose between a floor-length gown, elegant cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit for the occasion.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, this celebration is an adult-only affair. Think of it as a mini-vacation-time to kick back, sip a cocktail (or two), and dance the night away without a bedtime to worry about!

Amtrak

Amtrak is a great option for guests traveling from New York or Boston without a car. The Westerly station, located on the Northeast Regional line, is just 15 minutes from most hotels. Alternatively, the New London station—about 30 minutes from the hotels— offers additional train options from NYC and Boston.

Flights & Airports

For those flying in, we recommend these airports:

  • TF Green Airport (Warwick, RI)

  • Boston Logan Airport

  • LaGuardia or JFK (New York City)

From the airport you can rent a car or hop on a train to make your way to Westerly
